Barves bullpen chart by @frediot
I could make one for the Twins but it would just be like one line that points to anyone, at all, but Matt fucking Capps.

History of US votes. Standout moments include FDR era of solid blue; Bright flash of red for Ike; Blue for Kennedy and then The South rejects blue at the end of Lyndon B. Johnson and the Civil Rights Act; Dark red west-centeral & light blue north-east for Reagan showing that even though history books typically display a map of all red save for blue MN the truth is a bit more complicated than that.

The chart [above] compares baseball teams’ payroll spending over the last decade with their won-loss record. Several teams with modest payrolls have done well this season, but over the last decade as a whole, the relationship between salaries and wins has been strong.
Humm I think that regression line for this chart doesn’t make sense as a liner equation. There’s a theoretical max. of 182 wins for reg. season games and to have the R line simply as a line is dishonest to the vast majority of teams. either by saying they lose too much for their pay or win too much for their pay. Look at the chart and there is a very clear line of best fit and the grey line included is not it. Either way, Twins are taking names and kicking ass.
