[FOND DU LAC, Wis. (AP)] — Fond du Lac police continue a fruitless search for a man wearing an ape costume who has attempted to steal foam banana displays from inside local gas stations.
Capt. Steve Klein says Thursday someone donning an ape costume entered two gas stations Wednesday trying to steal the displays and police have received several calls about the suspect hanging around town.
Agreed. I still need to find one that says “aboot” though.
we do not sound like that!
I don’t know… try saying “toast” around anyone not from here.
About (and Out for that matter) is a Canadian thing. However, I’ll concede on Bag, Toooooast and Boooat.
If you want to hear some awesome Minnesotan (as in the language) just get one to say the following paragraph;
"I’ll be right there, the kids are still playing ‘Duck Duck Grey Duck’. So I’ll head out in about five minutes. And, I want to read my book out on the boat, so could you please bring it along. It’s in the bag next to the toaster."
For the purposes of this demonstration, I will not be using a Dr. McNinja page, as I don’t want to spoil the upcoming “he was dead the whole time” twist. Instead, I will be using a page from my own critically-acclaimed and largely inaccurate comic biography of Owen Wilson.
