I think it's a pretty good idea.
I think facebook should force you to write a note to someone when you unfriend them. Sure you can send a blank note but the point is then people know you’re sending a blank note. This way people will be forced to identify the person on the other end is in fact a person. I think we lose sight of the fact that even though we may only see a computer we are dealing with people, not machines....
